New Workspace SDK Localization Feature
Workspace SDK now supports localization. Developers can use the API to programmatically set OpenFin Browser’s language to English (US), Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Korean, Russian, or German. This capability is currently available only in Workspace Browser. Support for other Workspace components such as Notifications, Home, Store, and Dock will be added in the future.
—
Control Notification Sounds
Now developers can create notifications without triggering the default notification sound. This means developers can play their own custom sounds when generating notifications without users hearing both the custom sound and the Notification Center’s default sound simultaneously.
—
Improved Analytics with Workspace Event Feed
The Workspace SDK's event feed has been updated to improve analytics capabilities. The upgraded event feed enables more accurate and meaningful analytics reporting by providing a clear and consistent framework for event capture. These enhancements are designed to support advanced analytics and reporting, improving insight into user interactions with Workspace components.
—
Custom Shortcuts for Notification Center
Users can now fully customize the keyboard shortcut for opening the Notification Center. The default shortcut is "Ctrl + /", but users have the option to either remove the shortcut entirely or customize it to their personal preference.
